David Garison
Executive Team
David leads the staff and is the preaching pastor of Northside. He’s never met a stranger and is thoroughly committed to the mission of Northside, “Welcoming everyone, wherever they are, to become growing followers of Jesus.” He is married to his High School sweetheart, Gina, and they have two grown children, Seth and Kylie.
Brent Berger
Executive Team
Brent has been on staff at NCC since 1996. He is currently the Minister of Administration overseeing facilities, finances and guest services and the areas that fall in between. His passion is “problem solving” and “people” and is known to mull over “facts and figures” at great length. He and Karen have three children, Alex, Ethan and Madelyn.
Jimmy Garison
Executive Team/Family Ministries
Jimmy came on staff in December of ’07. He heads up Northside’s Family Ministries where he oversees the children and youth programs. He also leads Northside’s counseling ministry. He has been married to his wife Christy since 1983. Both Jimmy and Christy have a huge passion for families and marriage, and he loves to apply God’s word to make our families healthier and stronger.
Jeremi Carnes
Executive Team/Worship Team
Jeremi leads Northside’s worship team and also helps oversee other ministries such as technology and children’s worship. His desire is to serve the church however he can and to lead a worship team that serves with musical excellence and with humble hearts. He is married to Jenni, and they have a daughter Ellie Joy.
Brandon Forsythe
Youth Team
Brandon Forsythe has been one of the youth ministers at Northside Christians Church for over a decade and as old as that makes him, he is still a big kid at heart. He is passionate about teaching God’s Word to High School students and challenging them to be disciples of Jesus. Along with heading up the High School Youth Ministry, Brandon preaches regularly and works as part of the church media team (He is also called on frequently to move heavy objects around the Church). Brandon has been married to Mandy for 11 years and they have four infinitely interesting and energetic kids keeping them on their toes: Dane, Aidan, Emerson and Harper.
Sheldon Jefferson
Youth Team
Sheldon is our Jr High Youth Pastor, leads the missions team, and maintains the disc golf course. His passion is seeing students grow in their relationship's with God, family, friends, and others. He is married and has two boys.
Kristy Bratovich
Administrative Support Team
Kristy is the Financial Administrator for Northside Christian Church, which involves all aspects related to the incoming and outgoing of church resources. Kristy strives to keep policies and procedures in place to ensure the best stewardship possible of the blessings God has provided Northside! Kristy is married to husband Matt, and they have four grown children living in the Dallas area and two high-school aged children, Brittney and Matt, who are active members of Northside and attend Klein Oak High School.
Frances McCord
Administrative Support Team
Safe to say after 25 years, that Frances must really love what she does. And she does - greeting people and helping them to feel welcome! In addition to roaming the church foyer on Sundays meeting new people, Frances is the office receptionist and leads the coffee and communion team.
Margaret Carstensen
Administrative Support Team
Margaret is the Administrative Assistant to the Senior Pastor David Garison. Margaret has 2 children (Chris & Julie) and 6 fantastic grandchildren – who also attend Northside. Loving God’s little ones, Margaret volunteers in the Children’s Ministry for ages birth to 2 ½. She & her husband, John, live in the Spring area.
Gary Luedecke
Small Groups Team
Gary helps people get connected in small groups as well as writing group material. He is passionate about seeing people grow as Christ-followers, and he firmly believes that happens best when we have solid relationships with other believers. He is married to Krissy.
Donna Sonnier
Small Groups Team
Donna works for Gary, the small groups minister, and also assists in the finance office. She is a hard worker and is always willing to help out wherever. She is married to Melvin.
Bonnie Curl
Small Groups Team
Bonnie Serves on the Small Groups Ministry Team. Her desire is to help connect people to a Small Group that will inspire them to live life together while developing Biblical values that will allow them to live the life that God desires for all of us. Bonnie and her husband Jim, have been Blessed with two wonderful children, Cassie and Jake.
Judy Winters
Family Ministries
Judy is our staff counselor for Northside and also helps working with our Benevolence Team. She really loves being a counselor and considers it her "calling from God." She has been married 21 years to her husband, Ralph. She has two grown sons, Micah and Jordan plus his wife Kaitlynn Ann.
Christy Garison
Family Ministries
Christy joined Northside’s staff in 2011 to provide administrative support to both the Administrative Pastor, Brent Berger and Family Pastor Jimmy Garison. In addition, Christy assists with the counseling ministry. She has a huge passion to help women, marriages and families. She loves teaching with her husband Jimmy and considers it a privilege to be in ministry here at Northside. Christy and Jimmy have two grown children; Caleb and Jamie.
Josh Carnes
Worship Team
Josh oversees the youth worship ministry and facilities and helps with the adult worship ministry and all technology related to these ministries. His desire is to serve God through the ministry of Northside Christian Church and support the church. He is Jeremi’s younger brother.

Karen is the Worship Ministry assistant which includes both office administrative duties and serving in the Northside worship band. She considers it a privilege to serve alongside the great team of musicians that God has blessed Northside with. She is married to our Minister of Administration, Brent. They have 3 children, Alex, Ethan, & Madelyn.
Julie Eastman
Children's Team
Julie leads our Children’s Ministry Team and together they develop and enrich our Children’s Ministry. Her desire is to seek Jesus in all she does in hope to share her passion with the children and families of Northside. She is married to Jeff, and they have three children Emma, Gavin, and Reed.
Angela Castillo
Children's Team
Angela is the Administrative Assistant to the Children’s Ministry. She and her husband, Joe, have three amazing children. She has been a member of Northside since 1989.
Shelley Wells
Children's Team
Shelley Wells is our children’s ministry Volunteer Coordinator. Her passion is to provide the families of Northside with the most qualified individuals to walk along side them and help nurture a love of Christ in their children. She and her husband, Brent, reside in Spring with their two boys, Tyler and Shayne.
Abby Muirhead
Children's Team
Abby is the Small Group Coordinator for the Children’s Ministry Team. She strives to serve the children of Northside with a humble heart. Her fervent desire is that each child feel welcomed, and that they know the love of Jesus. She and her husband, Colin, reside in Spring with their five children.
Jenni Carnes
Children's Team
Jenni works as Northside’s Preteen Coordinator, overseeing the 4th and 5th grade program. She is passionate about helping kids develop a personal relationship with Jesus and teaching them to understand their identity in Christ. She and her husband Jeremi have a daughter, Ellie Joy.
Jami Clark
Children's Team
Jami serves as our Large Group Coordinator for the Children's Ministry. She passionately strives to bring Bible stories to life to lay a foundation of faithful followers of Jesus in the children of Northside. She and her husband Matt have been blessed with 3 children Siler, Baylor and Sutton.
