Small Groups

The Small Group Ministry at Northside Christian Church exists to welcome everyone wherever they are to become growing followers of Jesus through genuine relationships.

Our small groups are generally 10-15 people who meet on a weekly basis in someone’s home, around the presence of Christ. Each week our group discussion is keyed to the sermon from Sunday morning, but we also pray together, laugh together, serve together, and eat together. The best part of being a part of a small group is having others to do life with. 

We encourage four things in our small groups: connection, care, change, and cultivation. In other words, we want people to connect in groups, building genuine relationships. We want to make sure people are there to love and take care of someone when they encounter difficult life-situations, hospitalization, etc. We want to see people’s lives changing, growing more and more into the image of Christ. We include an element of Bible study and conversation as well as mentoring and accountability to allow the truths of Scripture to form us. We also want people to cultivate our community by inviting others, serving, and continuing the conversation with those in their neighborhood, work environment, and family.
