God has been faithful to the Northside Christian Church family for nearly forty years!

1972-2006: Spring Cypress Road

The church began in 1972 when a few families gathered together in a deli.  In 1974, the church purchased land along Spring Cypress Road and moved an old school building to the site for its first permanent building.  For the next 30 years, Northside grew at that location and built various permanent structures. In 2003, the growing Northside family recognized the need for more space and purchased 34 acres on Kuykendahl Road. However, Northside outgrew the Spring Cypress site before the Kuykendahl property was ready.

2006-2009: Schindewolf Intermediate School

In April of 2006, Northside began conducting its morning worship services at Schindewolf Intermediate School. For the next three years Northside met there—each week setting up and tearing down. In March of 2009, Northside completed its first phase buildings at 20250 Kuykendahl and moved in.

2009-Current: 20250 Kuykendahl Road:

Our new home! Northside is so much more than just a new building – this is a place of new life, new opportunities, and new relationships.

We are blessed with a unique location to gather and interact with each other and our neighbors daily. Everything about Northside’s Kuykendahl campus is intended to bring people together, sharing the simple joys in life. Our hope is that people will be refreshed and encounter the love of their Maker.

Come enjoy the playgrounds, basketball courts, volleyball court, fishing pond and disc golf course. This is our gift to the community. The park area is open to the public seven days a week. So, tell your friends, bring the family, invite your neighbors – everyone is welcome here!

We hope you’ll also join us for one of our Sunday morning services at 8:40, 10:00 or 11:30am. Families and individuals have multiple options for getting involved in our different ministries and small groups. By God's provision, Northside desires to be a church that welcomes everyone, wherever they are in their life-journey and to do so with an open, honest faith.
